Contrary to some reviews, this bag's capacity is good. I can fit everything I need in here, which usually consists of a laptop, an ipad, documents, water bottle, umbrella, various pouches for organization, and some leftover tech. I can even fit a jacket and gym clothes in a separate sack if I overflow the bag and ride up the flap. This is a 15L bag, so it will most likely fit all that you need for the day, but not much more. I have a 22L backpack if I need to carry more. My use-case is quick access bag for daily urban carry, and this is perfect for that. The weight of this bag at full capacity is the most that I can comfortably carry. A 24L would be impractical for me.

The seatbelt straps, outer nylon material, and the inner lining feels durable. Adjusting the shoulder strap is smooth. There is a loop to organize the dangling shoulder strap. And the stabilizer strap is surprisingly robust. My 15" MacBook Pro fits perfectly in a well-padded laptop compartment. Overall I'm very impressed by the build quality.

Some reviews remarked that the material is stiff and compresses too much into the main compartment which reduces the usable space. I disagree. Stuffing the bag feels snug now but the nylon will break in and the pockets will expand. And as long as there are no fragile things in the main compartment (like food), the main compartment compression is a non-issue. You can utilize all the space as long as you're not afraid to actually use the bag and stuff it full.

I rec'd my messenger over a week ago and I would like to address some issues that people have posted. First, I currently live in Singapore and I ordered the bag on a Sunday. Rec'd it by Thurs/Fri. Was informed all along of when it was shipped and when it will arrive.

Second, there is a lot of front strap left over but luckily there is loop to corral it. No biggie.

Third, the only reason someone would complain about their laptop not fitting into the bag (main compartment or the sleeve) is that they did not check the dimensions given on the Chrome site and given by their laptop manufacturer. Definitely user error there.

Fourth, the site states what capacity this bag is, 15L. It is up to you to find another bag with that capacity so you know exactly what you are getting.

For my review, this bag is large enough for what I need it to do. I am also a short guy at 168 cm and the 24L version would be crazy big. It's well made, feels very heavy duty. I have had other outdoor bags before so I would rank this bag up there in terms of being well built. On the flip side, it is heavier than it looks and it's a warm bag so if you sweat a lot be aware that this bag may worsen the problem. The buckles are super tight but I am hoping that they will loosen up a bit with use.

Currently using it to carry a ThinkPad T-series, an iPad mini and a few other items. Everything fits. I did overpack it today for a hospital discharge so it was a bit uncomfortable.
