Ruckas Sling Bag

This bag is a good compromise between being small enough to wear comfortably for hours and still being large enough to fit common everyday carry items excepting a laptop.

I have used it for working week EDC and cycling at least a few times a week for around 1 year so far plus occasional air travel and it is robust.

The pocket layout easily fits a cellphone / 2 pens / wallet / multitool / iPad / keys / a few adaptor cables and there is room enough in the internal main compartment for a small water bottle or 375ml drink can sideways at the base thanks to the front pocket not reaching the lower part of the bag. There are 7 discrete compartments to keep most items separate and protected.

* Only obvious room for improvement = the larger internal pocket is not quite wide enough to fit an iPad with any kind of cover on it (even the thin base model Apple one), but an iPad will still fit easily in the main internal compartment with a keyboard cover and pencil attached. Maybe the next version could be around 1/4-1/2’ wider to correct this oversight.

Would happily buy another.
