    Underwhelming material

    Ordered replacement buckles for my more than 10 years old messenger bag, the bag itself is still almost pristine even after daily year round biking, but the buckle sadly broke so I ordered both MD and LG buckles as I was undecided on which dimension I prefer. Both new buckles look fine but are made fom thinner, lighter metal and feel less sturdy than the old ones. Old buckle is made from sturdy slightly softer steel, the harder metal in the new one just doesn’t feel as reliable.
