Please make a bigger version for Kadet Max

This is a great option. I hope a larger optimized version for Kadet Max can be made to take advantage of the extra space.

    Bought & Returned

This product just misses the mark in so many ways.

I really can't stress how much I wanted to love this camera insert. The kadet series bags are some of the most comfortable slings bags on the market and I have never understood why there isn't a camera oriented version (especially of the kadet max). That said I was excited to see an insert available for the kadet so, I ordered one.

Despite being well crafted (as one would expect from Chrome) the product is just awkward.

First, this thing really does not need to have a zipped top lid or any lid for that matter it just gets in the way. Also, the gear dividers have Velcro on all four sides so there is always something to scratch your camera / lens against while accessing your gear.

Secondly, did anyone beta test this design?

I have a Sony A7CII as well as the 24mm and 50mm compact lenses (not large equipment ) and it is an uncomfortably tight fit unless I use the storage compartment thing as a spot for a lens. The easy solution would be to turn the camera on it's side however the bag is like 1 inch to short to be able to do so and zip the top closed. I am sure this was done to stay with in the dimensions of the Kadet bag but it sure seems like there is enough space to make it just a little taller to accommodate the vertical camera orientation. (especially if you got rid of the zip top.)

Would love to see Chrome Industries refine and improve this design. It is a great idea but it just needs a little bit more polish.

    Awesome

Glad to see this option, is it from myself using that bag for camera gear all these years? haha

Really awesome to see this. Solid built and quick and easy to use when needed for a camera.
