    Beautiful Bag

I love the waterproof Kadet Max WP. I use it as my daily camera bag with a couple of camera cubes and my only complaint is it’s a little crunchy but the size is nice I miss the buckle so I add one the materials feel great the zipper are solid and sturdy the pull on them is hard so they sent it with a bottle is lube which is pretty awesome.

Not a daily driver but good design

Things I love about this bag:

Its a solid attempt at creating a waterproof laptop bag in terms of design.

They got the shape and ergonomics right.

Very light weight, folds easily into other travel gear.

    Two stage retention buckle

    What I dislike:

The waterproof bag shell is made of a very thin material that creases like paper. Its very rigid, starchy and somewhat abrasive. In the areas where the bag naturally folds the finish material makes hard corners, leading to excessive wear in those corners.

There is no fail safe in this bag, if the thin shell is punctured that's it, there will be a hole in the bag,

there is no secondary internal liner to save you.

The design of the zippers is deeply questionable, even when fully lubricated, they are very difficult to close. IPX7 is useless when you nearly rip the zipper off the bag every time you try to shut it, or fail to shut it because its stuck.

    Verdict:

In the hall of waterproof gear, this is was a fair attempt. But it falls far short for the price point compared to others in the travel gear market.

    Solid EDC Bag

I've had this bag for over a month now and it's my daily carry. Enough space and thoughtful pockets and storage for porting things around. It's large enough for my standards needs and compact enough that it's never in the way. It's not perfect though: the plastic keychain holder in the outer pocket feels a little flimsy but is also kind of difficult to snap in/out of (I ended up replacing it with a small carabiner). The waterproof zippers are very stiff! It's not really a defect since it's what makes them waterproof in the end, but would be good to know before buying. they do wear in a bit and some zipper lube is provided, thought I'm not excited about keeping track of a small tube of lubricant for my zipper. I have a 14" Macbook pro that I carry and that is definitely the max size the built-in laptop sleeve will accommodate which is exactly on spec. My main annoyance is that the way the lip of the bag fits over the laptop, in conjunction with the stiff zipper, necessitates the use two hands in order to remove it from the bag. Though it would prevent the laptop from accidentally…at least in most cases. Non of the cons are a deal breaker and overall I'm quite pleased.
