Powered by scrappy means and curious minds, Chrome was born from a DIY mentality with a focus on functionality and having fun. From a small garage in Colorado, we've never lost our passion for thoughtfully designed gear.
An icon was born
Citizen
When faced with the very real problem of taking a messenger bag off and on quickly and unsatisfied with the buckles we could buy from a catalog, inspiration struck. We went to the junkyard and removed an Oldsmobile seatbelt buckle and sewed it onto a messenger bag. This marked the beginning of the icon.

Barrage
Along came the Barrage—born from messenger DNA, reimagined for your back. Complete with a floating liner and weatherproof shell we created the Barrage with an ergonomic strap system built to move with you. From the cargo net front, to the water bottle pocket and U-Lock holder, it’s got space for everything but excuses. So popular, it's now available in three sizes.
On to a good sling
Kadet
Then came the Kadet. We took everything that made our Messenger bags a street legend—comfort, function, durability—and scaled it down for everyday carry. The Kadet Sling answers the call for lighter, tighter, ride-ready carry. An iconic sling born from the courier's legacy, available today in other sizes or fully waterproof.

A fully waterproof bag needs waterproof seams, materials, and a waterproof closure—with the Urban Explorer collection we took it to the next level. Inspired by sailing gear, we introduced knurled welded seams for increased durability. No stitching, no leaks—just pure, welded strength.
