Okay, but my old Chrome Hoodie is much better

This 3.0 version is not 100% merino wool and you can tell. It feels much more synthetic than my old one. Also the sleeves run a bit long, they almost cover my whole hand. It retains heat a lot more than the old one, in an uncomfortable way. I wear both but strongly prefer my older version Chrome hoodie.

    Waiting to buy

I need to replace my old one, but I’m waiting to hear they’re back to the old standard before I buy. Hope Chrome is listening!

    Just a different Cobra

Got scared of the reviews of many people that were used to their OG Cobra (I own a Cobra 1 myself), but still went along with the purchase. I don’t regret it.

It is lighter, thinner, more ‘techy’, more sleek fit, almost towards a fleece on the inside… but I like it a lot. Very different from the OG and definitely not great in very cold temperatures. I just use it differently. It has been perfect this spring.

Also saw many ‘odor complaints’, because it not being 100% merino, but I still haven’t washed mine after 2 months of moderately using it weekly and it’s still fine.

That being said I would also prefer a 100% merino for the next version, and I do agree the price is very steep for a mix fabric. Kinda unjustified.
