    Real Warmth, Soft & Comfortable

I’ve been using these Merino Crew Socks for commuting here in Seattle’s Pacific Northwest winter, and they are genuinely warmer than any other socks I’ve tried. The merino wool does an incredible job keeping my feet cozy and dry even on those damp, chilly days without making them overheat or sweaty. They’re incredibly soft and comfortable right out of the package, no itchiness at all, and they stay that way after multiple washes. I really appreciate the reflective details for added visibility during low-light commutes. These are durable, well-made socks that live up to the hype. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Captures the Decline in Chrome Quality Over the Past Decade

I've been wearing Chrome merino socks as my primary sock for commuter biking and everything else for over a decade. The original pairs would be all I needed around my ankles biking in NY. They'd last over a year in a rotation of about five to six pairs. My latest purchase (late 2025) are already falling apart and are incredibly thin. I heard Chrome was bought a while ago (possibly private equity) and this is what happens as they cut costs while relying on the original quality of the brand.

    My favorite socks.

Been buying these for years. Unlike other merino wool socks, these are thin. They breathe well, and unlike cotton they hold their shape all day. No, they're not too hot—I live in Los Angeles and wear them year-round.

I have at least a dozen pair on hand at any given point, and when a pair wears out, I just replace them with a fresh pair.
