I purchased these shoes for work at a bike shop. I wash bikes, and service suspension daily. I was looking for a pair of waterproof boots that might last a year. These can’t even handle a family gathering. The toe cap started to peel up after 2 days of wearing them at the bike shop. Chrome customer service sent me another pair with no issues, and I asked if this was something they had experienced before, Because I would just return them if that was the case. They ignored that question completely. I kept using the first pair at work, and saved the new pair for special occasions. I tried gorilla glue, and shoe glue on the original pair. Both failed after a few days. I eventually wore the new pair a few weeks later, and they did the same thing. The difference is the new pair was never exposed to water or any heavy use. I went to dinner. It’s a shame because they are very comfortable, they are waterproof, and they look cool. I bought Chrome because they have a reputation for making quality products, I’ve had one of their backpacks for over 12 years. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. I emailed them again once the 2nd pair started exhibiting the same issue, and they have not responded after 3 days, so I figured it was time to write a review. Now the stitching on the original pair is starting to fail.
