    Money!

    These boots are exactly what I wanted for bike commuting in rain and snow. I've used them for 3 Salt Lake City winters now, and they are still holding up great. Socks are always dry. I love how they're also presentable enough to wear with khakis or jeans at work so I don't have to change shoes after a wet commute. They're the perfect balance of heavy duty enough (keep feet dry/warm and not get torn up by medal bike pedals) and stylish enough (don't feel clunky, look good with any pants). My only critique is that "traction" is in the name, but I've found they are actually very slippery on smooth wet or snowy surfaces. Took them hiking in the snow once and was slipping a lot. Not a deal breaker though if you're getting them for bike commuting and light urban walking.

    I usually where a 12, but followed the size guide and got 11.5 and they fit perfectly.

    Stiff and uncomfortable

    The boots were stiff, and did not flex when I tried walking in them. Leather felt fake.

    Sent them back.

    Disappointed

    Boot arrived but appeared cheap and cheaply constructed. Not a deal breaker. I had read they run large, but I ordered my usual size which is 10.5. Unusually narrow toe box which pinched my toes. My feet are a bit wide, but most 10.5 shoes fit me fine. I will be returning these. They definitely look better in the photo than in person. Disappointed. I would consider a wide width if it was available in spite of the marginal quality because I really like the design.
