This bag is everything I could ever need. It's perfect for work and life. It can hold my small laptop and all of my notepads and supplies. It helps me keep everything I need organized and accessible. The capacity is amazing - I fit a change of clothes and a mountain of art supplies together in the main compartment. I also put both mine and my husband's 32 oz owala water bottles in both side pockets at the same time while the bag was full.

I also love how easy it is to convert from a tote to a backpack.

All in all, I can't see myself ever needing anything but this bag for my day-to-day needs.

The concept is great. The actual bag itself is great. The look and feel is spot on. I appreciate that it is the right balance of sturdy and lightweight. However this bag doesn't seem to carry well in either tote mode or back pack mode. Unfortunately the straps on this bag really make it uncomfortable to carry any weight (laptop, water bottle, notebook, lunch) for any length of time. It's worse in tote mode, the straps are thin at the top and the stitching on the inside strap that supports the additional fabric for the easy transition to backpack mode creates a bump in the strap that digs into my shoulder. It's the equivalent of having a hotspot in a hiking shoe. In backpack mode it's okay but there's no strap padding. The straps are positioned in such a way they pull outward which make me feel that I have to have a hand on the straps when walking to keep them on my shoulders.
