    Great Design, Too Small

I usually wear a 28–29 in Levi’s jeans, a size 4 in Gap, and a 6–8 in Prana, depending on the cut. My current measurements are a natural waist of 28.5 inches and hips around 39.4 inches. I’m 5’7” and 145lb athlete.

I wanna like these so bad. Such good construction (mostly) and A+ features! But I got a size 6, which—according to the size guide—should have worked. I was right between a 4 and a 6, so I went with the 6. So glad I didn’t get the 4. I can get them on and they look great if I don’t move, but honestly… I probably should’ve gone with an 8. It might have felt a little roomy at first, but for shorts you actually want to ride bikes in, being slightly too small is way worse than being slightly too big. The waistband just needs a little more stretch. I’m hoping I can wear them in and maybe as I naturally lose some lbs as summer fun continues they’ll be more comfortable.

People that wear over size 14 ride bikes too

Still after all these years Chrome is a bike company that mostly caters to men and some skinny women. Chrome uses plus size women to model their bags but won’t make clothes for them even though the average American woman wears a size 16.

    FIT SMALL

Went with the size chart and they were waaay too small. Too bad cause I'd love some good short to wear on my commute.
