    Great boots!

Really nicely made boots or shoes or whatever you want to call them! As a few people said they do technically run a little big but I don’t know what that means in shoe world. Depending on the company I can fit in a 12. Sometimes 11. Other times a 10.5. I ordered an 10.5 and they fit more like a traditional 11. I don’t understand the world of shoes. My feet’s (double plural) are 11.2 inches long. I measured them because that’s what people do I guess. I don’t honestly know why I measured, I suppose I thought it would help me pick an appropriate size rather than trying them on. I don’t know where I’m going with this. They are nice need to be broken in a lil but I have no complaints. I hope this review was helpful. I mean it probably isn’t because you probably already decided to just get them. Now you’re just looking for emotional support to convince you you’re making a good choice. So I suppose just get ‘em kiddo, tiger, champ, big guy, cutie pie, or whatever moniker suits you. I dunno. I bet you’ld look really swell in them though. Hearts and sparks.

They seem great, and have a one year guarantee on quality, so I wasn’t too worried about the toe rand that some reviewers thought failed too early. I have had issues with high, glued-on rands in other brands. For me, after years of wearing wider stuff like Vans Old Skools, these are simply too narrow in the toebox. Probably to help sole stiffness; I just didn’t find them comfortable. I usually wear an 11 in most brands and the length was great, just too narrow up front.

very stiff upper that will rub your ankle. Looks nice but not comfortable to wear.

    Sizing is off

Like other reviews say, the sizing is off. I have an older version of the '415 boot' in a size 8.5, and comparing them side by side this updated version is noticeably larger. Pretty annoyed about the return shipping fee so that I can try again to get the sizing right.
