    Great bag, weak buckle

Absolutely love the bag and Chrome's customer support.

The tbeing said, I had the previous version of this big. The new one has lighter material. It feels a bit more "plasticy" but still solid and well constructed with plenty of room.

The main downside I see is the front buckle, which is not anymore a metal buckle but a very flimsy one. It is not easy to close, not possible to close with one hand (which was possible with the old version) and of course the cool "brand factor" is not anymore without the original branded buckle.

    Good material, poorly crafted

The material itself is solid, but the bag I received was poorly made.

The bottom liner was sewn crooked on one side, causing noticeable deep creasing. Right out of the box, it looks like a used bag. I’m going to return this tomorrow to the store I ordered it from and exchange it for a replacement, hoping this was a fluke occurrence.

Even if this was a manufacturing error on the factory’s end, it’s astounding Chrome let this bag reach the market. As a first-time buyer, I’m now skeptical of Chrome’s quality control supervision.

Nice bag but not super durable

I really like the bag for commuting and using for rides around town on my bike. Side pocket fits my u lock perfectly and the zip pocket is great for a flat kit. My issue is the quality. I’ve had two of these (got the second one on a warranty). Both bags have ripped the stitching within a year of usage (1-2x a week). For the price I can’t justify a bag that has the sticking come loose on the straps almost immediately.

    Another banger!

Got bag as a replacement for a 2013 version of the Barrage. While I loved the old bag, it was time for a replacement.

I love the new outer material and the small pocket on the from of the bag is a great new addition!

My very minor gripes with the new version is that the water bottle/side pockets don't have drainage holes so a frosty bottle may collect water...also I loved having access to the space between the inner and outer linings ...for secret stashes...

All in all, a great addition to my Chrome collection and while I shouldn't have to buy a new bag anytime soon. My next bag will definitely be a Chrome
