After years of being a backpack guy (GoRuck GR2), I decided it was time to switch to a shoulder bag, and zeroes in on the Citizen. I've used this bag for about a week now, walking about a mile to work and back in an urban environment.

Pro's:

- Solid construction. Bag just feels well made, but still lightweight.

- Comfortable to wear. Shoulder strap really does a great job. A couple of times I thought I'd forgotten my laptop because the bag felt so light on my back/shoulder.

- Dedicated laptop compartment.

- Top handle. Small touch, but I find it really useful

- Can stand on it own.

- I dig the buckle, just a nice touch.

Con's:

- Wish it had a little more organization... Even a pocket or two for a pen or headphones to stash real quickly. Now, I use the messenger organizer which helps a lot, but that's another $40. But it does solve the issue..

- The bag fits my EDC (13' laptop, notebook, some cables a pair of headphones, pens etc), but it feels small on the inside pocket. Maybe that's the messenger organizer, but the bag is more of a trapaziod on the inside, so maybe there's more space than I realize. It does keep me from overloading the bag, which is kinda why I switched to a messenger to begin with.

Overall: Good bag that looks good, is comfortable to wear when I walk, and carries what I need it to. 24L is a sweet spot for me, and most messengers are either way too big or too small for what I want, this one is in the Goldilocks zone. Despite some limitations…
