    Cool Jacket...but not waterproof

    I'm a huge fan of Chrome Industries, have many of their products, and almost all of them a great...but this jacket is a huge miss. It's a pretty cool-looking rain jacket, but unfortunately, it really doesn't hold off rain any better than a $20 water-resistant jacket at TJ Maxx.

    Excellent Lightweight comfortable Material, quiet but the zipper acts like a mule.

    Hey, love your products, been a fan for decades but the RAB zipper on this jacket that i tried on takes many tries To zip up.

    DO NOT BUY

    Does not handle well in actual "downpour". You will get soaked through. Waterproof like Trumps 2000 check for every American. Customer service will tell you it's because you're sweaty, even though material is thin af and supposedly "breathable". Saved myself from paying full price, but even the discount is a rip off.

    Can't return even after finding out product does not perform as expected. Return policy is trash.

    Save your money and buy Patagonia.

    Bummer

    It's a waterproof shell with no pockets and no reason to exist, other than the packability and zipper makes it a step up from a pancho or a plastic tarp. But not much. And even on sale for $125 i cannot for the life of me figure why it exists. I can't use it for anything, so chrome will be getting it back. My fault for getting excited over the word jacket, and assuming there are "features" outside of it being developed in partnership with another company?
