I’ve used a custom-made, glittery-PVC-covered Citizen for bike commuting, rock climbing, work, and travel for 13 years now. I bought a Kadet last year and, while it is actually possible to cram an unprotected 15” laptop in it, it didn’t have the volume I needed and, frankly, lacked the glitter I need in my life. The Rio Rose Pink Kadet Max has been perfect in every way. Bonus points for incredibly effective laptop padding - not a lick of damage to my laptop when someone I thought I loved decided to test the buckle function while I was standing on a concrete floor without the stabilizer strap on. No external sleeve for a U-lock, but plenty of room to tuck one inside.

I initially scoffed at the idea of spending almost $150 on a bag, but upon receiving it, I'm so glad I did. The zippers are heavy duty, the materials used are sturdy and will hold up to years of wear and tear, and padding on the shoulder makes it incredibly easy to go all day with it strapped across my back.

It has quickly become my go-to bag for both work and school, and with the lifetime warranty, its gonna stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Perfect size durable... need to stop swing it in tight spaces where I graze people with my bag
