    How much is the cool factor worth

    I love my Citizen Messenger Bag i have two of them. The wear excellent always dry inside even when dripping off the bottom. Then people see the seat belt buckle and they are smitten as well. They speak my language "that's cool", "Oh wow", "Did you make that?" are some of the phrases they use. I liked the colors on this one. It appeals to the same part of my brain that likes Frank Lloyd Wright, and pottery barn. I was so excited I bought a buckle to go with. This bag comes standard without the buckle. That is the first thing wrong. The second is the buckle itself I will review the buckle separately. It was pretty easy to swap the hardware i haven't come across any instructions on how to swap them. I like the minimal packaging if I had gotten this from Assmazon it would have arrived in two or three boxes exterior, buckle and maybe the bag would be in a box. It arrived in a soft bag. and save about 1ft³ of waste

    An ideal commuter bag

    It’s the perfect bag for carrying my daily essentials. I can fit my 15” laptop and iPad Air in the rear sleeve with plenty of room left over for my lunch. There’s plenty of pockets to keep the rest of my whatnots organized, and the configurable straps add a ton of functionality and comfort. Looks fantastic in sage with a rainbow buckle too!

    Well designed but odd

    I like everything about the sling except for the nylon material which is stiff, sort of thin, and aesthetically chinsy. I should have gone with the canvas material or suede. Overall it's great and holds a ton. I'm sure the weatherproof nature of the materials will come in handy too!
