    They're not Kursk, but good enough.

    I think the title says it all, but let me add that "good enough" is actually appreciated, given the options. I just wish Chrome would quit making worse shoes than they did five years ago (and five years before that).

    A stylish and well made shoe

    These shoes were kind of uncomfortable at first. After a brief break in period, they have become much more comfortable. I enjoy wearing these everyday. They are stylish and well made. I feel they will last a long time!

    They're fine.

    They fit, they look nice. But what I really wanted was another pair of Kursks! Chrome, please bring back Kursk! I've purchased three pairs of those -- the first completely worn out and discarded, the second not in great shape but still holding together, and the third currently being used for cycling. My plan was to use a new pair of Kursks for cycling and let the third pair "retire" to normal sneaker use. But sadly the third pair cannot retire from cycling now, they'll have to work till the end, so I got these Sylvans for use as a normal sneaker (they were on sale). But I was hoping to continue cycling (no pun intended) through Kursks forever. I should have bought several pairs when they were available. :-(
