    Quality went down

For those of you who got a bag years ago and looking to replace it - get ready for a dramatic decrease in quality. Items on the right are the old bag and the left is my new bag. The once made in America bag lost the chrome buckles, material feels lighter and cheaper, logo stitching is gone and replaced with some adhesive plastic that will scratch off. It still has the waterproof material but even that feels cheaper and the outer material is a cheap thin nylon now. Overall a huge downgrade. Disappointing when it used to be such an amazing high quality bag. Last bag I’m getting unfortunately. Chrome I hope you read this and go back to your roots.

    3rd times the charm…

This bag has been stolen from me already twice. And I keep buying it. But seriously $225? Come on, that’s a bit ridiculous. $200 was fair, when I paid $175 that was so on point. Anyways, good bag, crappy price.

    so far so good

It's an expensive bag. Nevertheless feels very confortable to wear. Fits quite a good amount inside when commuting or for short trips. Looks nice.

Looks good, but lacks engineering quality

Had high hopes for this bag, but been very disappointed...

After spending a LOT of time researching, looking for a bag for my cycle commute, I landed on this with waterproofing, capacity, laptop sleeve, side pockets, and outside compartment for helmet all looking like they ticked most of my boxes (foregoing my preference for waist-strap for the other features).

Unfortunately, it didn't take long to learn that this bag wouldn't make the grade. With any notable weight the bag is completely unstable, no matter the shoulder or chest strap configuration, it's not going to perform like a bag with waist straps. It moves around a lot, on or off bike. On bike, standing, it bounces along and shifts side to side - far from efficient for your ride! Off bike, I usually have a bit of extra weight and this was worse - the only chance to secure the bag is to tighten shoulder straps to the point of loss of circulation. When one arm was trailing to pull a checked bag behind me, the bag slips from the shoulder leaving you off balance (I am over 185 with large shoulders...)

The outside straps are non-elastic, and don't hold anything in place - unless huge, at which point you must loose straps to insert, then tighten again. All straps have a needlessly excessive spare length, meaning they are often caught and pulled by mistake.

The strap under the clip securing the top seems a natural grip for moving /handling the bag as you might, however all straps seem not to fix securely at their set length…
