I bought the bag after trying out my friend’s older version of the Urban Ex. I wanted a big roll-top with a few pockets for essentials to use for weekend trips and commuting on days when I have much to carry. The size, pockets, and other functions are just as expected and really nice, and the bag will be nice for weekend trips. But the other reviews saying that the bag looks bad when it is not completely filled, that it is too wide, that it does not roll well, that the top does not stay closed, and that the clip straps sit too high, are unfortunately true. The bag works and I am happy that I got, but is poorly designed given the price and how the older model did not have (all) these issues. It’s a shame because it could have been the perfect bag. If you have narrow shoulders: This bag sits wide on the shoulders, consider measuring before buying.
