    great fit

Very comfortable, and looking forward to breaking them in. I know they aren't waterproof, but wondering how they'll hold up in Seattle rain and mud.

Do NOT like the new lacing and loop/flair on the tongue

Backstory, I've owned a number of Chrome shoes, mostly the mid height style. I've loved their fit and aesthetic more than my Vans from prior to finding Chrome... but these Bromley Mid are making me question some style and fit decisions.

First let's talk about that tongue and those extra loops... are they pure aesthetic, or supposed to be retaining lace orientation better... what gives? They don't really do it for me and I don't really see the purpose other than to stand out... maybe just me.

The tongue "structure" is just... weird. It doesn't lay flat against the top of my foot, and gives me this weird floating sensation when I'm walking. Not floating like zero-G float, but just that my foot lifts and falls within the shoe like it's not adequately cinched down to my foot (by-product of those external loops on the tongue?) It's too... stiff... the whole shoe is stiff and just doesn't feel as instantly comfortable as any prior Chrome shoe I've owned and worn down through the tread.

It's almost as if the shoe was designed and constructed to retain that "new" shoe profile after wearing it? Like stiff on the sides, tongue, and hard to lace.

I purchased the same size as all previous Chrome shoes and it fits slightly too large.

    Not that comfortable

The looks of this shoe made me think it would be pretty comfy but I have boots more flexible than these. Also they are pretty hard to get on.

    Brody mid

I wear a 6. 1/2 or 7.. usually a 7 is big and have to put an insole in.. I opted for the m7/w8.5 I understand I’m told you need to size up because they run smaller than normal and run narrow ..

For me I’m slim build 5’7 and the shoes fit perfect no I soles needed .. but as recommended a size up is a smart move.. pleased with my purchase and the shirts 28 waiste fit is great as well 🍻
