i usually put my wallet and keys in my pants' pockets but i've developed somewhat of a fear of pickpocketing after a recent overseas trip (even though it didn't happen to me) so i searched far and wide for a sling bag. i've had good experiences with chrome before, being an owner of their 20l midtown messenger bag, so naturally i went to them which eventually led me here, to this sabin 3l sling.

i'm really liking this bag so far. build quality appears to be good and the bag is quite spacious too, being able to fit my wallet, my earbuds, my keys, my phone (which has a leather folding case so it's quite thick), and even a small water bottle (like 300ml). it has a good number of compartments too so i can easily separate my stuff. one in the back, one in the front, and one main compartment with net dividers.

the sling is also decently versatile, being able to be worn low on the waist area (like a pseudo-messenger bag) or right up to the chest (which i prefer). the strap isn't very rigid, which is good for comfort, and has a side-release buckle in case your strap's too short and you can't easily put on or take off the bag. all in all, i think this sabin sling is a very solid bag.

only gripe i have is that it's a bit too easy to adjust the strap length. not to the point that i accidentally shift the strap when i'm just moving around, but i often overdo it when i want to just slightly loosen the strap a bit. it's not at all gripe that detracts from my wearing experience much…
