Got the Heritage Canvas Mini Kadet. Have the regular Kadet, but that is better for packing a jacket/compression.

Buy the buckle. Buy the strap. The canvas is more durable than the nylon/plastic (i.e. open flames, hot grinder-shrapnel). It holds: receipts, spare keys, pens, a small cash-bag, cell-phone, and theft-deterrent items. The picture is off color; it is a pale-tan and dark-brown. The color pairs well with the "Carhartt-brown" jacket in the picture.
