    Latest version is really bad

I first bought this bag back in 2023 and my review would have been 5/5. Unfortunately I lost this and ordered a replacement back in December 2024.

Echoing some of the other recent reviews, there are real issues with this bag. They seem to have made it wider and shorter which means that the bag now holds no shape at all when being filled up, it really does look like a sack of potatoes.

More fundamentally the roll top does not say closed. The straps that you clip in to are too high. You'd never need to actually loosen them and they can't be tightened nearly enough. This paired with the lack of shape means that the roll top does not stay closed and it unravels no matter how tight I try to make it.

I would love the old version back.

    Love it

Spacious and very comfortable, the rigjht fit for biking and move things home to work.

The back reflectiive straps are perfect for safety.

Love the waterproof fabric quality quality and the blue strips and handle.

The internal compartment are the right size and fits 16" Mac. And the small compartment are good for notebooks/ pens etc.

The shoulder strap are very comfortable on my shoulder and back.

Side pocket good for phones or keys.

    Light weight and good capacity!

    Very nice and thoughthfull design

Buckle with straps on the side are placed too high

I really wanted to like this pack. I was basically looking for a dry-bag -style backpack with a huge cavernous main compartment with a bit more features for commuting and carry-on luggage. This seemed to fit the ticket, but the placement of the buckles with adjustable straps are sewn on too high on the side of the pack. The purpose of these buckles are to fasten with the matching buckles on the lid to hold it down. BUT as you can see in the photo I attached, wherein I purposely filled the pack up and was barely able to fold the lid, the buckles meet up at the mid section of the pack, with the straps already fully pulled out to the max. So if the pack is not full, like in the second photo, I can roll the lid about 3 times (the backpack straps will not allow you to go further) and then the buckles will no longer hold the lid down properly because there’s too much slack due to the placement of the side buckles. They should have put them further down, close to the bottom, otherwise why even put adjustable straps that are pretty much useless? This configuration doesn’t keep the lid closed. Like at all. I will notice later on that the lid will unravel itself, because it is not compressed properly due to the useless straps. I can only barely keep the lid sealed properly during transport if I fasten the two top buckles together instead. But now I have two useless buckles and straps on each side of the pack which is an eyesore. Also, with the lid constantly unraveling, how can this…

    New and improved!

This bag was a warranty replacement and the new design and larger capacity is very versatile.
