    New Bag

    The bag arrived right on time as a gift for my girlfriend .Her purse zipper exploded the day before her birthday.She loves it, its roomy , durable and looks great ( her words).I wish I needed a messenger bag so I could get something for myself.

    Fantastic

    I got this as an afterthought off another vendor website because it matched the Valencia tote pack I also got as my EDC. But this has become my new EDC. It’s the ideal bag, it has great lines, it is a beautiful bag actually, and not big looking, and is slingable, with a decently thick strap (that does not detach). But all the pockets are gusseted, so I can do my daily walkabout and make an impromptu stop at the store to load up on dinner prep and there is plenty of room for that in this bag. The large internal pocket fits a mini ipad, and the two smaller internal mesh pockets fit your mirrors, credit cards and that sort of stuff, or a foldable grocery tote of some kind. The exterior pockets fit your phone and keys and general junk. The entire center cavity though is a huge empty unpadded and unpocketed free space that will hold easily a laptop, water bottle, sweatshirt, or beach towel, flip flops, maybe your weekend travel change of clothes or gym clothes, or a small bag of groceries to make yourself some dinner. And the crinkle fabric and rubberized bits are classy looking and all of it looks so small when you are carrying it. Highly recommend. May get the travel backpack too.

    Almost there

    Longtime Chrome fan with over a dozen bags in my collection here.

    Yoyogi should be an easy favorite for EDC; lightweight yet robust materials sewn with Chrome's usual high-quality stitching. Perfectly sized pockets in perfect spots.

    But, man, I'd be lying if I said I still wasn't disappointed in the designers (and/or the copywriters?). Notice how the "Device Pocket" measurements say 13"x7.5". This *should* be able to fit a 13" M2 Macbook Air which is 11.97" on the long side.

    Nope. Won't fit. Took a tape measure and the Device Pocket's opening is closer to 11.5".

    If you scroll down further you'll see under the product comparison chart that the "Device Fit" is "Up to 12"." This is probably correct, assuming they mean 12" diagonally.

    There's definitely room to expand this pocket to fit 13" laptops. It baffles me that they didn't. Chrome even posted a social media video of an influencer sliding their Macbook into the bag, but coincidentally this video doesn't show the inside, which would have made it clear that said Macbook wasn't actually placed inside the Device Pocket.

    TL;DR: designers could have made the device pocket just a little wider to fit laptops, and the product description might be inaccurate.

    Great Day/Messenger Bag, Buuut

    I’ve been a Chrome fan for many years - my first one, a Metro messenger, is still holding up after 20+ years of use, and all the other bags in my collection look great as well. This messenger is great for a daily carry option - lots of pockets, inside and outside. I wanted a messenger bag that I don’t necessarily /have/ to wear across my back, and this definitely fulfills that requirement. I guess I’ve gotten used to having a padded strap from the typical Chrome bags though, because the strap on this bag tends to dig into my shoulder if I’m carrying too much. I also kind of wish it had one more (uncovered drop) pocket on the side to hold a water bottle. I got the bag in black for a more ubiquitous aesthetic - it’s perfect for casual outings, but I could easily use it for a casual night out to keep a sweater/jacket handy.

    Best day bag ever!

    I love this little bag. Chrome never misses with their durable materials and thoughtful designs. I never knew I needed so many pockets but I do! Love the double way zipper and thicker strap.
