If you take away the cool print, the explosion of colour on the inner liner, and the fuzzy bunny patch this is just another boring messenger bag. VERY boring, and I’m pretty disappointed by Chrome standards. This is a floppy-a$$, structureless rectangle of a bag. The inner pocket isn’t wide enough to accommodate a VERY thin 11” MacBook Air. The outer pockets are hidden between pleather-y overhangs.. no actual security from zippers etc. The strap is thin… painful to carry a very light MacBook Air and 20oz water bottle. Ugh. I love the print, paid full price + shipping, and have a bit of FOMO/gate-keeping with returning it but I cant get over the fact that it is just a basic, boring, bag. It doesn’t even hang off the back nicely between upper shoulder blade and lower back like a true messenger! The design is so… outdated.. so foreign….I am disappointed, Chrome! Truly I am! As a loyal Timbuk2 girlie I was hoping this cool print would be the one to change my mind. IDK if it’s worth returning. Maybe OK as a shopper.. but oddly shaped. Buyer beware - not good for laptops.. maybe good if you want to hold a wallet and ball up a sweater in it later. I’d feel better paying $30-40.. not $75, limited edition or otherwise.
