I live in the Bay Area and need a bag that can hold all I need for the workday, hold up during my commute with bike and train, and keep everything safe if there's a surprise storm or extra dense fog. Currently, this bag is the best I've ever had. The design of the cushioning on the back has even helped reduce how much I'm sweating when I bike, and the shoulder straps have helped so much with my fatigue; nothing feels as heavy as it actually is. And unlike a different brand I bought not long ago, the strap and the top handle didn't start tearing out the first time I wore it. Worth the price.

Use this as my main, only had it about 2 months.

I work in IT and this size and style works great. 2 major issues:

1.) laptop pouch is sticky to any and every laptop i have tried to slide it. It needs like a felt or something other than the water proof lining. Laptops just dont slide in and out easily.

2.) the inner zipper pouch is so thin, it snagged and tore almost instantly. I’m basically only throwing ethernet cables and sometimes clothes in this main area and that didnt last a month.

Everything else is 10/10. Outside of the bag is excellent and sturdy. Looks good too.

Inside needs a little work, in my opinion.

Regardless, bag is dope. I just wish the inside was as solid as the outside

Originally bought a Barrage 22L back in 2023. Over time , the bottom panel ripped, I guess I’d overloaded it.

Was really disappointed, but then Chrome honoured the warranty and sent me a new one, which I was stoked about.

The updated Barrage 22l has a few thoughtful, helpful details that make it a pleasure to use:

-Stretchy netting, very useful for quickly storing and retrieving bike lock, helmet etc.

-extended lip on top, helps keep rain out

-extra pocket on outside of laptop compartment

I am pleased with the product overall, but wary not to overload.
