I’m in the ever-rainy PNW and it’s tough to find something truly waterproof. I was a bit hesitant to buy this since I saw comments lamenting the bag’s reluctant zippers and overall stiffness, but neither of those have been an issue for me. And, better still, it fits my iPad Pro 11” with Magic Keyboard in my padded TomToc sleeve, which I didn’t expect.

It’s also especially nice with the black seatbelt buckle and feels incredibly well built. I’ve been delighted with my other waterproof gear from Chrome and while I haven’t tested this in the rain yet, everything I’ve experienced so far feels confidence inspiring.

I purchased both the WP Kadet and mini Kadet back in October. Both had incorrectly measured cut outs for the bike lock holder (roughly an inch too small on both). A key feature for any cyclist and a main reason I buy Kadets is now missing. I got in touch with customer service and they sent me replacements. Both of these were defective in the same way with the addition of a halfway ripped seam on the shoulder strap. Customer service had me send those back for a full refund and advised me not to repurchase until they had sorted it out with the third party warehouse they contract. I recently repurchased these bags thinking a month or so would be enough time for them to sort this out. I received two more defective bags yesterday. They are clearly just selling through all the defective bags and counting on them being purchased by non cyclists. These bags seem so perfect for my needs. I am very annoyed that this company no longer cares to make gear for cyclists. So if you are someone who needs that bike lock feature please do yourself a favor and wait for them to sort this out. For reference I am purchasing this from the east coast of the US. Maybe non defective bags exist elsewhere.
